Dear donors, please note that we have not appointed any external entity to act as an intermediary to coordinate donations made to the LRH. If there is any doubt please contact our hospital directly (+94112693711 /+94112693712 Ext. 307)
Guidance for Donors
A. Cash donations
You can directly deposit funds to the “Friends of LRH” bank account.

Please mention “purpose” or “remarks” as “to purchase essential drugs and surgical consumables” if you are making an online transfer.
Once it is deposited please email the receipt with the purpose of donation mentioned as “to purchase essential drugs and surgical consumables” to directorlrh@yahoo.com
We will send you an acknowledgement within 2 working days.
B. Direct medicines / item donations
You may directly purchase urgently required medicines/ items (click here for the list) from local suppliers, and hand over items to the Director’s Office, LRH.
You will receive a letter of appreciation from our office.
C. Donation purchased through local agent
Local and overseas donors may purchase urgently required drugs / items (click here for list) from local suppliers, and direct them to deliver to the Director’s Office, LRH.
We kindly request you to email the invoice with the item list and payment slip to directorlrh@yahoo.com. We will email you a letter of appreciation once the items are delivered by the supplier.
*All donors are welcome to visit or send a representative at the time of donation and take photographs.
Sending medicine and surgical items from overseas

Overseas donors may courier urgently required medicine and other items (click here for the list) from suppliers in their country of residence (provided they are NMRA approved) through the Director General Health Services (DGHS) to be forwarded to the Directors Office, LRH.
Please be kind to contact Dr. Anwer Hamdani (contact details will be emailed) at the DGHS Office for further information regarding NMRA approval and courier process. The following documents are reuired: Invoice, Donation Letter, Quality Certificates and Analytical Report (if available).
Dr. Savithri Dharmaratne at the Director’s Office (see below for contact details) shall co-ordinate with you from the Lady Ridgeway Hospital.
