The Central Milk Supply Unit caters for the milk supply of the whole hospital. Milk preparations are prepared according to the advices given by the nutritionists. Each step of the procedure is handled with great care and autoclaving is done for all the instruments, bottles and water using 2 High Pressure Autoclave Machines. 100% of quality and safety of the products is ensured. The supply is met according to the demand around the clock.
The work force consists of Nursing officer Incharge, 4 Nursing officers and supportive staff.
VPOPD clinic is located towards the Baseline road entrance of the hospital. Once enter from the main entrance from Baseline roadside this is the first clinic on left hand side room No. 8. Our working hours are from 8am to 4pm. During morning session all new and follow up patients are seen while evening session is more dedicated for follow up patients.

- Receiving, cleaning with NaHCO3, Drying and Autoclaving of Bottles
- Water is Boiled and autoclaved
- Instruments are autoclaved
- Using headcovers, overalls and gloves milk preparation is done according to the requirement by the nursing officer 3 hourly and issued to the wards.
